Role: HGV CLASS 1 DRIVER Location: Maidstone Hours: Days and Nights Pay: Upto 23.35ph About the role Extrastaff Maidstone are searching for experienced HGV CLASS 1 DRIVERS for a established client of ours in Aylesford. As an HGV CLASS 1 DRIVER, you''ll keep the retail operation flowing by ensuring their stock is in the right place at the right time for our customers. Based out of one of the national or regional distribution centres, you''ll be transporting goods right across our supply chain network and shops in one of our LGV articulated vehicles. Supporting the safe loading and unloading of your trailer. Carrying out a full set of safety checks on your lorry. Maintaining a full knowledge of the Highway code, WTD, EU Drivers Hours Regulations, the Partnership''s Transport Partners handbook and the driver''s training pack and adhere to them Finding solutions to unexpected situations on the day and keeping the transport office up to date with your journey, communicating any problems and delays that might occur. Reporting any vehicle issues appropriately. Completing Supplier and Partnership documentation accurately.
