HGV Class 1 Driver – Days

We are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for a reliable and well-established operation based in Newbridge. This is a great opportunity for drivers seeking consistent day shifts, stable hours, and a professional working environment.

Pay & Benefits:

• £15.28 per hour
• Weekly pay
• Paid holidays and pension contributions
• Full-time hours with regular start times
• Supportive transport team and modern fleet

Shift Details:

• Start Times: 7:30 AM or 10:30 AM
• Shift Pattern: 5 days over 7 (including potential weekend work on rotation)

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating Class 1 vehicles for deliveries and collections
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
• Ensuring all paperwork and logs are completed accurately
• Following all transport legislation and company procedures
• Providing a high standard of customer service during deliveries

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C E) licence
• Up-to-date Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred
• Good knowledge of UK road networks and driving regulations
• Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach
