About the Role
The HGV Class 1 Driver - Days position in Bristol involves full-time, temporary-to-permanent work based from a depot in Severn Beach. Pay ranges from £17.50 to £22 per hour via PAYE, depending on shifts. Start times are between 0200 and 0600, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays. Duties include completing daily vehicle checks, conducting store deliveries, and handballing cages, dolly bases, and pallets during loading and unloading. Drivers handle a maximum of seven drops per shift and manage delivery paperwork. Candidates must hold a UK Class 1 licence, full CPC, and Digi card, with no more than six penalty points (excluding DD, DR, IN, or TT endorsements). Two years of recent and relevant HGV driving experience is essential.
