HGV Class 1 Driver Days

Extra Men Limited are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers on behalf of a trusted client based in Lutterworth.

This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for ongoing day shifts with consistent work and competitive hours.

Start date: 23rd June

Available shift patterns / start times :

• Thursday - Monday 10:30
• Tuesday - Saturday 12:30 
• Wednesday - Sunday 14:30 
• Thursday - Monday 14:30 

The Role

• Delivering bread to bakeries and RDCs across the UK
• Collections on return journeys (please note this may include pork products)
• Handball duties involved
• Longer shifts/hours may be required

Assessment Information

• A driving assessment is required prior to the start date.
• Assessments are approximately 7–8 hours long and they're a mixture of theory and practical.
• Please ensure you have driving hours.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months’ Class 1 driving experience (must have been actively using licence)
• Maximum 6 penalty points
• No DD, DR, DG, CC, CD, MS or IN endorsements accepted
• Good communication skills
• Punctual, professional and respectful attitude
• Comfortable with physical work and longer hours
