HGV Class 1 Driver - Days

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Goldthorpe area. We are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) to join the team on an ongoing basis.

Hours:-Monday to Friday, start times between 04:00am and 06:00am

Pay Rates:--16.21 per hour PAYE or -18.17 per hour rolled up PAYE.

Location:-Goldthorpe, Rotherham, S63.

Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate.

The role:

- - - -Drive a Class 2 vehicle (curtainsider) for deliveries within Doncaster.

- - - -Multi-drop up to 12 drops per day, 10-12 hours per shift ensuring deliveries are made efficiently and safely.

- - - -Fork on Fork off on arrival

- - - -Strap and secure loads for safe transport.

- - - -Deliver goods to business-to-business and some residential addresses.

- - - -Ensure compliance with all road safety and company policies.

- - - -Ongoing role with the opportunity for a permanent position.

Requirements:

- - - -Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).

- - - -Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

- - - -Minimum of 1 years proven driving experience.

- - - -No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).-

- - - -Ability to work independently and handle varied runs.

- - - -Full understanding of WTD legislation.
