HGV Class 1 Driver - Day Shift

Job Overview We are seeking skilled and reliable Truck Drivers to join our team. HGV Class 1 Driver - Day ShiftIn this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various locations. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, particularly with curtain sided trailers, and possess a strong commitment to safety and customer service. Responsibilities - Operate a lorry to deliver goods to designated locations in a timely manner.- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, securing it appropriately for transport.- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order.- Light vehicle maintenance and re-torques- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and deliveries made.- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns professionally.
