Hgv Class 1 Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Southampton area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 (C&E) Drivers to join the team.

Roles:

• HGV Class 1 - Afters

Hours:

• Class 1 Afters - Across Sunday to Saturday - 16:00pm

Please note drivers must be available to work weekends within their availability*

Pay Rate: -16.50 per hour PAYE

Location: Southampton, SO16

Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate

The role:

- Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.

- Drivers will be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle.

- Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

- Full UK driving licence for the relevant licence.

- Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

. Experience on the relevant vehicle required

- No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

- Full understanding of WTD legislation.

- Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.

- Excellent communication skills.

- A safety-first mindset.
