HGV Class 1 Driver

Class 1 Driver Required – Newton Aycliffe

We are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for our client based in Newton Aycliffe. This is ad hoc work delivering to local customers using curtainsider trailers, with multiple drops per shift.

Job Details:
• Start time: 06:00
• Pay rate: £15.97 per hour
• Work type: Ad hoc shifts
• Curtainsider trailers
• Drops per shift: Up to 6–7 deliveries
• Work involves local deliveries to customers and sites, ensuring goods are delivered safely and on time.

Requirements:
• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence Must have held licence for at least 1 year
• No more than 6 penalty points for minor offences
• No DD, DR, IN or similar major endorsements
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Previous curtainsider / multi-drop experience preferred
• Reliable and good timekeeping
