Hgv Class 1 Driver

Are you a hard-working, reliable and confident HGV Class 1 Lorry Driver?

On behalf of a leading processer and recycling client based in the Newbury area, M4 Recruitment are actively seeking for a HGV Class 1 RORO Driver to join a our team.

Main Duties:

• Collect, deliver and exchange RO-RO bins
• Follow routes given to you by the Transport Manager
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects to the Transport Manager immediately
• To complete all paperwork accurately in a timely manner
• Parking of all vehicles at the end of everyday
• Making sure the cab of your lorry is always clean and tidy
• Keep in regular contact with the transport manager, yard managers and weighbridge operators at each site.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience with HGV Class 1 Driving.
• RO-RO (Wagon & Drag) experienced preferred, but training can be provided.
• You must have good problem-solving skills
• Effective communication, both orally and in writing, is essential
• You will also have an excellent phone manner
• You must look presentable as the role is customer facing
• Fluent English is required

Shifts:

• Working Monday- Friday
• 06:00- 16:00
• Overtime and weekend work available
• Temp to perm
