Ensure compliance with driver hours regulations. Complete vehicle checks and defect reporting. Maintain accurate transport documentation. Operate refrigerated and curtain-sided trailers. Load security and safe transportation of goods. Follow customer site procedures. Adhere to health and safety requirements. Assist with loading and unloading when required. Maintain vehicle cleanliness. Occasional overnight stays. Operate specialist trailers where required. Work flexibly to meet operational demands. Requirements Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence. Driver CPC qualification. Digital Tachograph Card. Previous Class 1 driving experience. Good knowledge of UK transport legislation. Strong safety awareness. Reliable and punctual. Good communication skills. Ability to work independently. Physically fit for manual handling tasks. Flexible approach to working hours. Experience with refrigerated transport desirable.
