HGV Class 1 Driver

Connect Appointments is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for ongoing temporary work with our Warrington-based client, with immediate starts available.

Our client is a well-established logistics business offering a variety of driving work to suit different preferences and schedules.

What''s on offer?

• Ongoing temporary position
• Monday to Friday, averaging 8 to 12 hours per shift
• Paid weekly at the following rates:
  • Monday to Friday days: -16 per hour
  • Monday to Friday nights: -17 per hour
  • Saturday: -18 to -19 per hour
  • Sunday and bank holidays: -19 to -20 per hour

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your work will include:

• Completing trunking runs depot to depot across the region
• Carrying out multidrop local deliveries and collections
• Completing all paperwork and delivery documentation accurately
• Adhering to driving hours regulations and road safety requirements

The successful HGV Class 1 Driver will have:

• A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence with a minimum of one year''s HGV driving experience
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• No DR, DD, DG, IN or TT endorsements
