Class 1 HGV Driver Location: Burton Latimer, Kettering, NorthamptonshireContract: Temporary Ongoing (Ad Hoc)Start Date: ASAPHours: 12-hour shifts Various shifts available Morning, Afternoon and Evening startsPay Rates:Monday to Friday: £18.00 per hourSaturday: £19.00 per hourSunday: £20.00 per hourWe are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers to support a busy transport operation based in Burton Latimer.This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for flexible ad hoc agency work, with the potential to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.The RoleAs a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for:Delivering goods to supermarket distribution centres (DCs).Completing curtain-sided deliveries safely and efficiently.Collecting goods from factories and customer sites, including locations such as Corby, before returning to the main Burton Latimer site.Carrying out deliveries and collections while maintaining excellent customer service.Completing all relevant paperwork and complying with transport legislation and company procedures.RequirementsValid Class 1 (C+E) LicenceValid Driver CPC qualificationDigital Tachograph CardPrevious Class 1 driving experience preferredGood understanding of Drivers'' Hours and Working Time Directive regulationsReliable, professional and safety-conscious attitudePlease note that no terminology in this advert is intended to discriminate on the grounds of a person''s gender, marital status, race, religion, colour, ..... full job details .....
