HGV Class 1 Drivers Required: Longer Semi TrailersOngoing Work£17.37 per hour (days)8 Hour Pay guarantee (Paid breaks)Days and Nights availableLocation: Chorley, PR7Start Time: 05 00Shift Length: Approximately 10 hours per dayWe are looking for reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to support ongoing transport operations between Chorley and Barrow.This role involves timed deliveries, factory collections and the safe transportation of palletised tissue products. Immediate starts are availableThe Role Start each shift from Chorley (PR7), generally between 05:00 and 06:00.Take a unit and trailer to Barrow for loading at the factory.Return the loaded trailer to Chorley for delivery.Complete two runs per day, working to scheduled delivery times.Follow all site procedures for loading, unloading and vehicle safety.Ensure the load is correctly secured in accordance with the required strapping procedure. Requirements Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.Previous experience with timed deliveries and trunking work.LST (Longer Semi-Trailer) experience is essential, as loading and tipping will take place on a loading bay.Understanding of load security and safe strapping procedures.Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious approach to work. All applicants must hold a valid Drivers CPC and Digi Tacho card.Working Hours Shifts are generally around 10 hours, with night drivers taking over once the day shift is completed.Interested?
