We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Class 1 (C+E) Driver to join our client based in Hereford. This is a position offering regular work, competitive pay, and excellent earning potential without the requirement for nights out. The role involves nationwide and regional deliveries and collections, ensuring goods are transported safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with legal and company procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for both newly qualified and experienced drivers who enjoy working independently while providing outstanding customer service.
⭐ The Role
- Full pallet deliveries using curtain-sided vehicles
- No handballing required
- Distance runs available
- Primarily forklift loading and unloading
- Trailer swaps where required
- Monday to Friday working pattern
- Optional additional shift every other week
- No tramping or overnight stays
- Hold a valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Hold a valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
- Be over 21 years of age (for insurance purposes)
- Have no more than 9 points for minor endorsements
- Positive, professional, and customer-focused attitude
- Take pride in maintaining a clean and tidy vehicle
- Successfully complete company induction, theory assessment, vehicle checks, driving assessment, and reversing test
- £16.50 per hour Monday - Friday / £19.25 per hour Weekends
- Weekly pay every Friday or monthly pay on the last Friday of the month
- Minimum 8-hour daily pay guarantee
