This role is essential for ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods across various routes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to work independently while adhering to company policies and regulations. Duties Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Transport goods to designated locations efficiently and safely, following planned routes. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes and vehicle logs. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays encountered during transport. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while on the road and at delivery sites.
