HGV Class 1 (C+E) Shunter Driver Banbury £16.00 per hour Monday to Friday Day Shifts Immediate Start We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Shunter Driver to join a busy logistics operation based in Banbury. This is a Monday to Friday role with day shifts, offering consistent hours and a competitive hourly rate. Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour Location: Banbury Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday Day shiftsThe Role As a yard shunter, you will play a key role in the smooth running of the depot, ensuring trailers are moved safely and efficiently around the site.Your duties will include: Shunting trailers between bays and parking areas Moving vehicles within the yard safely and efficiently Liaising with warehouse and transport teams Conducting basic vehicle safety checks Maintaining a safe and organised yard environment Requirements Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card Previous shunting or yard experience preferred Strong awareness of health and safety Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic What We Offer £16.00 per hour competitive pay Monday to Friday schedule no weekends Immediate starts available Opportunity for ongoing or long-term work Support from a friendly and experienced team If you are a professional Class 1 driver looking for stable weekday work in Banbury, we would like to hear from you.
