About the Role
HGV Class 1 and 2 Drivers are needed in Harlow for a full-time position paying £22 per hour. This role involves multi-drop deliveries across a fixed 3-week rolling rota, with shifts starting between 04:00 and 05:00, lasting 9 to 13 hours. Rapier Employment are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 and 2 Drivers for an exciting opportunity based in Harlow. This is a fantastic chance to secure consistent, long-term, well-paid work with full time opportunities with a leading blue-chip logistics provider.
What You’ll Earn

Your Working Pattern
Enjoy a structured, predictable rota with no Sunday working:
Fixed 3-week rolling rota:
- Week 1: Monday – Thursday
- Week 2: Wednesday – Saturday
- Week 3: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
- An option for more days is available.
- Start times: 04:00–05:00
- Shift length: 9–13 hours
- Guaranteed minimum 8 hours pay per shift
The Role
- Multi-drop deliveries (typically 6–8 drops per shift)
- Delivering chilled, frozen, and ambient goods
- Using cages and tail lifts (electric pallet truck training provided)
- Delivering to convenience stores on planned routes
- Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
- Providing professional and friendly customer service
What We’re Looking For
- Valid HGV Class 1 and 2 (Category C / C+E) licence
- Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Maximum 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
- Reliable, professional, and customer-focused attitude
- Good communication and time-management skills
- Flexibility to work the rota
