HGV Class 1 and 2 days and nights

We are looking for HGV Class 1 and 2 drivers for a client based in Portbury for Mon till Friday work. Work on days starts between 0500 and 0600 and consists of 3 to 5 drops for Class 1 and 8 to 10 for Class 2 drivers. No handball involved as you are offloaded on sites.

Night work is trunking and involves starting between 1700 and 1900; also no handball.

If working 5 days you will average 50 hours per week paid as below:

HGV Class 1 and 2 days - -18

HGV Class 1 and 2 nights - -19

Ideally we would like the drivers to be happy to work on both Class 1 and 2 vehicles as this maximizes opportunity for ongoing work due to vehicle availability. Client requires ideally at least 1 year of holding category and valid driving experience. First, an assessment needs to be arranged for a driver and if successful they can start work.

Our ideal driver:

- Will have no more than 6 points on full UK Licence, CPC and Tacho card

- Will have a good understanding of Tacho laws and driving regulations

- Will have some previous HGV driving experience (ideally over 1 year)

- Will have a positive attitude-
