This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with a strong background in HGV maintenance, plant equipment and mechanical repairs. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, inspecting, repairing and testing a range of HGV vehicles, plant and associated equipment. The role will be predominantly workshop-based at the client''s Stevenage site , although there may be occasions when the successful candidate is required to work off-site. Our client currently has two mechanics who regularly work at customer premises across Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire , so there may be opportunities to attend customer sites when required. The successful candidate will also need to be comfortable participating in an on-call rota approximately one week per month .
