HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver

Excellent opportunity to work as an HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver with Derby City Council. Staffline is recruiting an HGV 7.5 tonne driver in Derby. The hourly rate is £15.56 per hour. The working hours of this full-time fixed position are: Monday - Friday: 8am - 4pm This role requires a good level of physical fitness due to the demands of the position. Very heavy lifting is involved. HGV 7.5 tonne drivers will be part of the removals/cleaning team collecting fridges. Your Time at Work The day-to-day responsibilities of a HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver include: - Driving 7.5T box van - Heavy lifting (Collecting fridges) - Working as part of a small team. - Occasional cleaning. - Completing void clearances and pick-ups. Our Perfect Worker Our perfect worker must have an LGV Cat C driving licence and a full, in-date CPC. Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential. A good level of physical fitness is essential due to the role being physically demanding, walking up to 12 miles per day over a 4-day work week, with potential for overtime.
