HGV 2 Waste Driver

We are seeking reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 (C) Waste Day drivers to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a HGV Class 2 vehicle to collect waste either from domestic or commercial premises efficiently and safely.This role offers an excellent temp to perm opportunity for individuals with a background in driving HGV Class 2 (C) vehicles. The ideal applicant will demonstrate strong communication skills, a professional attitude, and a commitment to safety. Duties Safely operate a HGV Class 2 (C) lorry in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies Collection of waste, ensuring timely and accurate collections Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure operational safety. Follow all health and safety protocols, including adherence to driving hours regulations. Qualifications Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving license with a clean driving record Expereinced HGV 2 (C) Drivers Essential - 12 months or more Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members Knowledge of health and safety standards Ability to work independently, demonstrating organisational skills and reliability Monday to Friday starts 0600 (6am) to 1400 (2pm) PAYE Pay rates: £17.67per hour - holidays accrued £19.80 per hour - Holidays included Annual salary - 36K-40K This role is ideal for driven individuals seeking a dynamic position within logistics and transportation sectors.
