HGV 2 Drivers

M4 Recruitment are currently recruiting newly passed and experienced HGV 2 Multi-Drop Home Delivery Drivers for our client, a national distribution company based in Dartford, specialising in the delivery of flat-pack home furnishings to residential properties.This role involves the safe handling and delivery of items ranging from small household goods to larger furniture items. Drivers are expected to always maintain a professional approach while ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of customer service.Temp to perm position paying a salary of £47,786.18 when permanent.Key Responsibilities;Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects in line with company proceduresLoad and secure goods safely to ensure damage-free transportationComplete multi-drop deliveries to customers'' homes, carrying items into the nominated roomConduct on-site risk assessments to ensure safe manual handling and delivery practicesProvide a professional and courteous service to customersProcess returned goods in accordance with company policies and proceduresComplete all required documentation accurately and on timeCandidate Requirements;Full UK Driving Licence, held for a minimum of 2 years'' experiencePrevious experience in multi-drop, removals, or home delivery workStrong understanding of Health and Safety and manual handling proceduresHigh attention to detail and the ability to follow operational processesConfident use of GPS and route-planning ..... full job details .....
