About the Role

Pertemps Banbury seeks an experienced HGV 2 Driver for a permanent, full-time post in Kidlington. Earning £40,540.80 annually, the successful candidate handles multi-drop deliveries of frozen, chilled and ambient goods, averaging 10 to 12 drops daily. Shifts run Monday through Friday, with optional Saturday overtime, and start times fall between 4am and 6am. This physically demanding work involves manual loading, so stamina and safe handling practices matter. Applicants must hold a valid category C licence, demonstrate solid knowledge of tachograph rules, and show reliability across early shifts. Strong route planning and customer care skills are equally valuable. Immediate starts are available for suitable applicants.

Pertemps are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established, Kidlington-based client for an experienced HGV 2 Multi-Drop Driver. This is an excellent permanent opportunity offering long-term stability and a competitive salary whilst being part of a great team of drivers.
The Role:

Multi-drop deliveries of frozen, chilled and ambient goods.
Average of 10–12 drops per day
Early morning starts between 4am and 6am
Very physical role involving manual loading and unloading using a sack truck
Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time
Completion of delivery paperwork and daily vehicle checks
Providing excellent customer service as this is a customer facing role
The ability to use EPODs
A basic DBS check is required for this role

The Ideal Candidate:

Holds a valid HGV 2 (Cat C) licence
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Previous multi-drop delivery experience preferred
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused
