Gotpeople is currently seeking a skilled HGV Class 2 Delivery Driver to join our client s team based in Hemel Hempstead. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established and reputable company offering consistent shifts.Immediate starts available.Position Overview As an HGV Class 2 Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods, while delivering outstanding customer service. The role involves multi-drop deliveries and manual handling, including unloading.Key Responsibilities Completion of assessments and training providedDeliver goods safely and efficiently to customersUnload cages into stores, involving physical workPerform multi-drop deliveries across London and the South EastFollow allocated set routes and participate in a rota systemConduct daily vehicle checks and promptly report any defectsEnsure all deliveries comply with company policies and proceduresMaintain a high standard of customer service when engaging with clientsAdhere to all relevant driver hours and road safety regulations Candidate Requirements Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence with a minimum of 18 months driving experiencePossession of a full CPC and a digital tachograph cardNo more than 6 penalty points on your licence (excluding DR, DD or IN endorsements)Comfortable with manual handling and lifting bulky itemsExcellent communication and customer service skillsReliable, with the ability to work safely and adhere to delivery schedulesWillingness ..... full job details .....
