We are seeking a professional and reliable HGV 2 Drivers to join our logistics team. Responsibilities

• Operate curtain-sided or fridge lorries and other commercial vehicles in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies.
• Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules while adhering to legal driving hours.
• Secure cargo appropriately, ensuring safe transportation of goods.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
• Complete all necessary documentation accurately, including delivery notes and logs.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery times and any unforeseen delays.
• Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with clients and colleagues during deliveries.

Experience

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or commercial driver
• Demonstrable knowledge of driving regulations and safety standards within the UK.
• Experience in handling flatbed loads, securing cargo, and managing logistics efficiently.
• Familiarity with route planning tools and GPS navigation systems.
• A valid UK driving licence suitable for commercial vehicles, with no serious endorsements or points on record.
