HGV 1 Trunk Driver

M4 Recruitment are recruiting experienced Class 1 Trunk Driver on behalf of our client, a leading national distribution company based in the Dunstable area.This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers seeking regular, ongoing work with excellent rates of pay and straightforward trunking duties for a well-established and respected employer.What We OfferExcellent pay rates from £21.28 to £25.88 per hour, a fixed four-day working week, a Friday to Monday shift pattern, ongoing regular work, trunking and depot-to-depot deliveries, minimal manual handling, a modern and well-maintained fleet, and the support of a professional transport team.The RoleThe role involves completing trunking runs between distribution centres and regional depots, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time. Drivers will be responsible for carrying out daily vehicle checks, reporting any defects, complying with Drivers'' Hours, Tachograph, and Working Time regulations, and completing all relevant paperwork accurately.Driver RequirementsApplicants must hold a valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence with a minimum of 2 years'' experience, Driver CPC Qualification Card, and Digital Tachograph Card.
