HGV 1 Shunting Nights

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a logistics company, for an experienced Class 1 & Shunter Driver (NIGHTS) to join their team in Raunds. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and safety-conscious driver looking for long-term work with a respected local employer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate Class 1 (Category C+E) vehicles for on-site and local deliveries
• Carry out shunting duties within the yard and between nearby company sites
• Complete vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company procedures
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and logs
• Work closely with the transport and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations
• Follow all company and legal safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence with up-to-date CPC and digital tacho card
• A good understanding of vehicle safety and yard protocols
• Flexible attitude and a willingness to support wider transport operations
• A maximum of 6 penalty points (no DR, DD, or IN endorsements)
• A minimum of 2 years experience
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Full-time, Temp to perm
• On-site parking and facilities available

All applicants must have 1 year UK experience valid CE / CPC / Digi Card UK & References
