HGV 1 Night Drivers

Interaction Recruitment are currently looking for Class 1 HGV Nightshift drivers to work with our national logistics and distribution client working from their distibution centre in Bromborough. This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for consistent work and suitable start times.

Due to our client requirements applicants MUST have at least 12 months Class1 HGV experience with no more than 9 points on your licence 

Job Role Includes:

• General haulage and trunking work.
• Ongoing and adhoc shifts available

Driver requirements:

• Operate a Class 1 vehicle safely and efficiently
• Minimum 12 months recent relevant experience
• Current CPC
• No more that 9 points on licence
• Follow all driving laws and company procedures
• Complete delivery paperwork and logbooks accurately
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
• in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, ensuring punctuality and safety at all times.
• Ensure cargo is secured cargo appropriately, adhering to weight limits and safety standards.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any faults or issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in compliance with legal requirements.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules or any unforeseen delays.
• Adhere strictly to driving hours regulations and maintain a professional attitude on the road.
