This role involves delivering FMCG products across the UK using modern Scania automatic units and 40ft tri-axle curtainside trailers.If you''re looking for clean work, well-planned routes, and a professional transport operation, this is a great long-term opportunity. The Role Nationwide Class 1 trunking and delivery work1-3 drops per shiftDeliveries to DCs, wholesalers, and Cash and Carry customersSome Aldi/Lidl deliveries (may require electric pallet truck use)Occasional fridge work (pre-set - no manual temp management required)No handballPotential return loadsWork may start from Lutterworth or run empty to: East Midlands Gateway, orLondon Gateway (Mars Contract) Fleet and Equipment Scania automatic trucks40ft tri-axle curtainside trailersLoads secured using internal straps and bungeesWell-maintained, modern equipment Assessment ProcessAll drivers complete a structured onsite assessment, including: Written exercise (incl. bridge awareness)Driving assessmentReverse onto a bayUncoupling and recoupling exercise Driver Responsibilities Safely operate Class 1 vehicles on FMCG routesFollow all Drivers'' Hours, Tachograph, and WTD rulesComplete daily ..... full job details .....
