HGV 1 Drivers

M4 Specialist are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers based out of our clients Distribution Centre in Thrapston NN14 working on day or night shift. Job requirements;As a HGV 1 Driver, you will carry out a mix of multidrop and trunking deliveries, while collecting waste from stores in line with operational requirements. Handle both palletised goods and cages, ensuring safe and efficient loading and unloading proceduresMaintain clear communication with the Depot Transport Office regarding any issues and deliver exemplary customer service by being polite and courteous at all timesOperate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner ? while ensuring required documents are completed accurately and on timeSuccessful applicants will need: Skills / Experience / Training required:Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles is essentialFull UK driving licence with category C+E entitlementValid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph CardsNo more than 6 current penalty pointsNo DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsementsYou are required to have 2+ years of experience as a HGV DriverHourly Rates HGV 1 - days = £17.45 per hour and nights = £20.94 per hourHGV 2 - days =£15.34 per hour and nights = £18.41 per hourDrivers will be required to complete an assessmentIf you are interested in the position, please contact Debbie at the Hemel Hempstead Branch M4 Specialist are an employment business and operates as an equal opportunities'' employer.
