Hgv 1 Drivers

We are recruiting for HGV 1 Drivers for a fixed shift across Wednesday to Saturday (Guaranteed Shifts). This position offers Temp to Perm opportunities.

About the HGV 1 Driver Role:

• Working days are Wednesday - Saturday (potential for additional shifts)
• Start times between 3am-5am
• Guaranteed work / Temp to Perm opportunities
• Pay Rates are -19.23ph (Weekdays), -24.04ph (Saturday), -28.85ph (Sunday / BH)

Duties for the HGV 1 Driver Role:

• Delivering chilled Ambient and frozen foods across the South West
• Store deliveries 2/3 drops per day
• Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards
• Secure cargo properly using appropriate methods and equipment
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
• Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and health and safety regulations during operations

Skills / Experience required for HGV 1 Driver Role:

• Minimum 1-year proven experience driving HGV 1 vehicles
• Full valid CE Licence, Digi Card & Drivers CPC Card
• Maximum 6 points for minor offences (No DR''s, DD''s etc)
• Excellent organisational skills to manage schedules efficiently
• Ability to operate vehicles safely under various weather conditions
• Good communication skills for liaising with clients and team members
