HGV 1 Driver

 

An exciting opportunity to work with one of our clients based in Telford has become available for HGV 1 Drivers on an ad-hoc and temporary basis.

 

The role will entail and not limited to:  

• Trunking work
• Trailer swapping 
• General haulage work
• Use of mobile device to take pictures of loads, deliveries and collections 

 

To be considered for this HGV 1 driver role you will need: 

• Category C E entitlement (held for minimum 2 years) 
• 6 Months experience driving C E vehicle 
• Valid Tacho and DQC cards
• Monday – Friday (Including ad-hoc shifts)
• Friendly, professional and dedicated to great customer service 
• An outstanding work ethic and the ability to work at a fast pace
• Certification for proof of pass for FORS Bridge Strike Training.  

 

Benefits:  

PAYE HGV 1 driver Pay Rates are as follows:  

• Days - £15.00ph
• Nights - £16.00ph
• Night out allowance - £26 per night.
• Weekly or monthly pay
• Accrued holiday pay.
• Access to pension (PAYE).
• Local agency office/consultants
