About the Role
This role is for an HGV 1 Driver (Days) based in Milton Keynes, working on a temporary contract at £18.50 per hour. You will operate Class 1 curtain-sided articulated vehicles, primarily transporting stock between local sites. Shifts typically last between 8 and 10 hours, with occasional assistance required for loading and unloading. Candidates must hold a full UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence, a valid Driver CPC qualification, and a Digital Tachograph Card. A minimum of one year’s Class 1 driving experience with curtain-sided vehicles is essential, along with a willingness to support loading duties. Strict adherence to driving hours, road transport, and health and safety regulations is expected.
HGV Class 1 Driver – July & August Opportunities
We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for a prestigious logistics operation based in Milton Keynes. Multiple shifts are available throughout July and August.
The Role:
- Driving Class 1 curtain-sided articulated vehicles between sites in Milton Keynes
- Transporting stock safely and efficiently
- Supporting with loading and unloading when required
- Shift lengths typically between 8–10 hours
- Adhering to all driver hours, road transport and health & safety regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of HGV Class 1 driving experience
- Full UK HGV Class 1 (Category C E) licence
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Curtain-sided artic experience essential
- Willingness to assist with loading and unloading duties
- No more than 6 penalty points on licence
- No DR, DD, TT or CU endorsements
