Location: Grays, Thurrock, Essex

A well-established transport company based in Grays, Thurrock is currently seeking a reliable and professional HGV Class 1 Day Driver to join the team. This role involves a mix of general haulage and container work, operating modern vehicles and delivering high standards of service to customers across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out Class 1 (C+E) driving duties on day shifts

• Transport general haulage and shipping containers safely and efficiently

• Follow company procedures and Driver Hours / Tachograph regulations

• Represent the company in a professional manner when dealing with customers and ports

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence

• Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card

• Previous container or general haulage experience preferred

• Good knowledge of UK driving regulations and road networks

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
