HGV 1 Cargo Operative

M4 Recruitment are-seeking-experienced HGV Class 1 Cargo Operatives for PM shifts,-for our client in Slough.-This role is essential to ensuring the safe distribution of Airfreight.-

Shift &-Start Times-

PM shift between (Apply online only)

Competitive Pay Rates: -20.00 - Ltd Drivers acceptable-

Key Responsibilities:

• Airfreight Operations:-Safely complete assigned Airfreight routes, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Vehicle Inspections:-Conduct pre- and post-trip checks, reporting any defects.
• Safety & Compliance:-Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
• Documentation:-Maintain accurate records, including delivery notes and logbooks.
• Communication:-Keep the logistics team updated on delivery progress and any issues.
• Professionalism:-Provide excellent customer service and represent the company positively.

Requirements:

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) License
• Minimum 2 year of Class 1 driving experience
• No more than 6 points on license
• Clean DBS check
• Level D / Cargo Operative training-(can be completed online)
• 5-year employment history for background verification
