The Role
As an Architect, you''ll support a range of exciting projects across RIBA stages, collaborating closely with senior architects and heritage consultants. You''ll take on design, planning, and technical responsibilities, ensuring the seamless adaptation of buildings while respecting their historical significance. This is the perfect opportunity for an Architect who thrives in both creative and technical aspects, from master planning to construction supervision.
Key Responsibilities
·Contribute to conservation and contemporary design solutions across multiple projects
·Assist with feasibility studies, planning applications, and technical design development
·Ensure designs adhere to building regulations and conservation principles
·Lead the preparation of project proposals, manage client relationships, and maintain project schedules
·Utilize BIM (Revit, AutoCAD) and industry-standard software for documentation and design coordination
·Support project budgets and fee proposals while ensuring design and technical quality
·Conduct site visits, ensure quality control, and monitor progress throughout the project lifecycle
Must-Have Skills
·Part 3 qualified with experience in architectural practice in the UK
·Strong design and technical capabilities, with expertise in producing high-quality drawings and design proposals
·Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe CC, and experience with BIM (Revit, NBS)
·Good understanding of UK building regulations, planning regulations, and conservation practices
·Hands-on experience across RIBA stages 2-6, with some experience managing projects through the construction phase
·Passion for working on heritage projects with sensitivity to historical and cultural values.
