This is a rewarding opportunity to provide vital support, information and advocacy to individuals experiencing domestic abuse, forced marriage, honour-based abuse and other forms of gender-based violence. As the first point of contact for callers, you will offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental service, helping victims and survivors explore their options, reduce risk and access the support they need. Key ResponsibilitiesRespond to helpline calls from victims, survivors, professionals and members of the public.Provide emotional support, practical advice and information in a calm, empathetic and empowering manner.Assess risk and identify appropriate support options for callers.Support both female and male victims aged 16 and over.Make referrals to specialist domestic abuse services, refuges, housing providers and other relevant agencies.Advocate ..... full job details .....
