Hedge Cutter / Grounds Maintenance

Red Recruitment are recruiting multiple Hedge Cutter operatives, for our locally based client, for the upcoming growing season. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who takes pride in maintaining high-standard outdoor spaces.

Start Date: 1st June 2026
Pay: £18.50 per hour
 

The Role:

• Covering various sites across Redditch and surrounding areas.
• Hedge trimming and shaping using petrol-driven trimmers.
• Some general grounds maintenance including strimming, weeding, and leaf clearance.
• Ensuring all green waste is disposed of and sites are left tidy.
• Adhering to strict health and safety guidelines, including nesting.
   

Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence is essential for travel between sites.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weathers.
• NPTC/LANTRA brush cutter or hedge trimmer certification (desirable).
• Applicants are subjecy to drug and alcohol tests befoe and during assignments.
