Vehicle Technician (Workshop-Based) Dursley - Workshop-based - Days, M-F - Full time, permanent - £30,000 to £40,000 DOE + benefitsOur client, a well-established engineering business specialising in municipal and specialist vehicles, is seeking a Vehicle Technician to support maintenance, refurbishment and repair activities across their workshop operation.This is an excellent opportunity for candidates from automotive, HGV, plant or similar sectors looking to develop their skills within a specialist environment.Key responsibilitiesCarry out servicing, maintenance and repair on specialist vehicles and equipment Diagnose mechanical and/or electrical faults and implement effective solutions Support strip, inspection and rebuild of vehicle systems Work on associated systems including hydraulics, pneumatics and vehicle electrics Interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams and job instructions Complete testing and ensure work meets quality and safety standards The PersonExperience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Fitter Background in automotive, HGV, plant or similar Strong fault-finding and hands-on repair skills Positive attitude and willingness to learn new systems DesirableLevel 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance or similar Experience with specialist or municipal vehicles Knowledge of hydraulic or electrical systems?If this role sounds of interest to you, apply to today.
