NEOS Engineering are partnered with a well-established and growing business within the construction plant sector who are looking to appoint a Plant Inspector to cover the Birmingham area.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer or inspector who enjoys working independently, visiting customer sites, and ensuring plant equipment is safe, compliant, and operating to the highest standards. Previous inspection experience is ideal, although engineers looking to move away from the tools into an inspection-focused role are encouraged to apply.
The Role- Carry out inspections on a wide range of construction plant and equipment.
- Produce clear and accurate inspection reports.
- Identify defects and recommend remedial actions where required.
- Liaise professionally with customers and provide technical advice.
- Plan and manage your own workload across customer sites.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with current health and safety standards.
- Experience working on construction plant, heavy plant, or related equipment.
- Good mechanical knowledge with the ability to identify faults and defects.
- Previous inspection experience is desirable.
- LOLER and/or LEEA qualifications are beneficial but not essential.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
