Heavy Plant Inspector HS2 Location: Aylesbury, BuckinghamshireSalary: £45,000Contract: Permanent, Full-timeNEOS Engineering are working with a major infrastructure contractor supporting a large-scale HS2 project in Aylesbury. We re looking for an experienced Plant Inspector to join the site team and take responsibility for ensuring a wide range of heavy plant, vehicles and associated equipment remains safe, compliant and ready for use.This is a hands-on site-based role, working closely with the Plant Manager, maintenance teams and OEM engineers. The Role You ll be responsible for carrying out inspections and checks across a varied fleet of heavy earthmoving machinery, site vehicles and ancillary equipment.The role will suit someone with a strong background around heavy plant maintenance or inspection, who is comfortable working outdoors on a busy construction project. Key Responsibilities Carry out pre-delivery and pre-use inspections on heavy earthmoving plant and site equipment. Complete on/off-hire inspections, recording machine hours, condition, damage and general wear. Inspect site vehicles including 4x4s, minibuses and other support vehicles. Check safety-critical equipment including cameras, beacons, alarms and other warning systems. Monitor tyre, GET, undercarriage and cutting-edge condition. Carry out basic greasing, lubrication and fluid checks. Identify defects and report plant issues to the relevant maintenance team. Support OEM engineers with access to ..... full job details .....
