This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Plant Inspector, Plant Fitter or Heavy Plant Engineer with a strong understanding of plant maintenance, inspections and compliance. You’ll play a key role in ensuring all plant and equipment on site is safe, compliant, reliable and ready for operation , working closely with the Plant Manager and wider plant team.  THE ROLE As Plant Inspector, you’ll be responsible for carrying out inspections, routine checks and basic maintenance across a large fleet of earthworks plant and site vehicles. You’ll identify defects, monitor machine condition and ensure equipment meets the required safety and regulatory standards .  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Carry out PDI inspections on earthworks plant, completing on/off-hire records and documenting machine condition.
