Heavy Plant FitterCardiff Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm Workshop BasedIntroductionAcorn by Synergie is currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a large reputable and growing industrial logistics company, for an experienced Heavy Plant Fitter based in Cardiff.This is a long-term opportunity working primarily within a workshop environment, carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of heavy plant machinery.The RoleDiagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems.Servicing and maintaining a variety of heavy plant machinery.Working on equipment including excavators, telehandlers, dumpers, and crushers.Ensuring all machinery is maintained to a safe and operational standard.Occasionally attending site-based repairs when required.RequirementsStrong mechanical knowledge with a focus on hydraulics and diesel engines.Proven experience working on heavy plant machinery.Experience with brands such as JCB, Hitachi, Volvo, CAT, and Kubota is highly desirable.Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.Strong awareness of health and safety procedures and compliance.Additional InformationSuccessful applicants will be required to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.Interested?Apply now with your most up-to-date CV, including details of your qualifications and recent work history, to be considered for this long-term Heavy Plant Fitter opportunity in Cardiff. ..... full job details .....
