Heavy Plant Engineer

Heavy Plant Engineer– Field Based - Covering Northamptonshire, Peterborough and Cambridge 

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Heavy Plant Engineer to join a well-established and growing organisation within the construction and groundworks sector.

This is a field-based role, covering sites across Northamptonshire and surrounding areas, so flexibility to travel is essential.

• £40,000 – £50,000 DOE (flexible for the right candidate)
• Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm
• Company van + fuel card

• Repairing and maintaining a range of construction plant (up to 30 tonnes)
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on-site
• Working independently across multiple locations
• Ensuring high standards of safety and workmanship

• Strong experience as a Plant Fitter / Plant Engineer
• Good understanding of construction plant equipment
• Ability to manage workload and work under pressure
• Full UK driving licence
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant Maintenance (preferred but not essential)
• You may have worked as a Heavy Plant Engineer, Plant Engineer, Agricultural Engineer, Earthmoving Engineer, Mobile Plant Engineer or similar
