Heavy Plant Engineer

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and reputable plant machinery dealership that provides maintenance and repair services across London and the South East. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter/Heavy Plant to join their field-based engineering team.This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer seeking a stable, long-term role with autonomy, strong support, and ongoing training.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on ideally Bobcat plant machinery at customer sitesDiagnose faults across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systemsProvide a professional, customer-focused service to minimise downtimeComplete service reports and job documentation accuratelyEnsure all work is carried out in line with health and safety regulationsManage tools, parts, and company vehicle effectivelyPlan and manage your own workload and scheduleRequirementsProven experience as a Plant Fitter / Mobile EngineerStrong fault-finding skills in hydraulics, mechanical and electrical systemsExperience with Bobcat machinery (advantageous but not essential)Comfortable working independently in a mobile roleFull UK driving licenceGood communication and customer service skillsNVQ / City and Guilds or equivalent in Plant Maintenance preferredWhat''s on OfferCompetitive salary depending on experienceFully equipped company vehiclePermanent, secure positionOngoing technical and manufacturer trainingOpportunities for ..... full job details .....
