Heavy Maintenance Manager

TXM Recruit is currently recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation within the rail industry for an experienced Heavy Maintenance Manager to join their team in Crewe.This is a key management position responsible for the successful mobilisation, deployment and commercial delivery of heavy maintenance projects, including classified repairs, overhauls and refurbishment programmes. The role will be predominantly based in Crewe, with some travel required to support projects at other sites.The RoleAs Heavy Maintenance Manager, you will take responsibility for delivering projects safely, efficiently and to the required customer, technical and legislative standards. You will manage internal and external stakeholders, lead project mobilisation and oversee the development of the teams required to deliver major heavy maintenance work packages.Key responsibilities will include:Managing the delivery of heavy maintenance, repair, overhaul and refurbishment projects.Building effective relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.Leading the mobilisation of new projects, including resource planning, work breakdown structures, tooling requirements, risk registers and Bills of Materials.Recruiting and developing Project Managers, Engineers, Planners and other skilled teams.Managing customer interfaces and leading Contract Review Meetings.Monitoring project performance through management information and KPIs.Supporting the bid team with technical and operational input ..... full job details .....
