This is a hands-on, heavy-lifting role involving the safe movement, loading and unloading of large and heavy items throughout the shift. You will work as part of a team to ensure goods are handled safely, stored correctly and prepared for dispatch in line with health and safety procedures. Key Duties: Safely lift, carry and move heavy items throughout the shift, often working in two-person lifting teams. Load and unload delivery vehicles, containers and pallets. Move stock around the warehouse and place items in the correct storage locations. Pick, pack, wrap and label goods ready for dispatch. Use handheld scanners to check and record stock where required. Check deliveries for damaged, missing or incorrect items and report any issues. Palletise, band and shrink-wrap stock where required. Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and free from trip hazards. Follow all health and safety procedures, safe manual handling techniques and site rules. Requirements: Previous warehouse, manual handling or heavy lifting experience is advantageous.
