Heating EngineerWe are recruiting for an experienced Heating Engineer to join an established business covering Colchester and the surrounding area. This is a permanent position offering excellent working hours, no call-out rota and a company vehicle.As a Heating Engineer, you will primarily carry out servicing, breakdowns, fault finding and repairs across domestic heating systems, with installation work accounting for approximately 10% of the role.The roleService, diagnose and repair domestic gas heating appliancesAttend boiler breakdowns and identify faultsWork towards a high first-time-fix rateCarry out gas tightness testing and safety checksUse flue gas analysers and diagnostic equipmentInstall and replace boilers, radiators and TRVsCarry out power flushing and general heating maintenanceComplete occasional plumbing workRecord completed works and materials through company systemsMaintain van stock and deliver excellent customer service as a Heating EngineerOil heating work where appropriately qualifiedThe successful Heating Engineer will needCurrent domestic gas ACS qualificationsStrong boiler servicing, breakdown and fault-finding experienceGood knowledge of domestic heating systemsExperience with heating installation and maintenanceAbility to diagnose faults independentlyFull UK driving licenceOil qualifications/experience would be advantageousProfessional approach and strong customer service skills expected of a Heating EngineerPackage 45,000- 55,000 depending on ..... full job details .....
