Heating and HVAC Estimator

Location: Peterborough Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Job Type: Full-time, Permanent The Role Prepare estimates and quotations for planned and reactive maintenance, including labour, materials and subcontractor costs. Review site information, drawings and specifications, liaising with clients, suppliers and subcontractors to confirm scope and pricing. Work with the operations and project teams to ensure quotations meet client requirements, contract terms and relevant regulations. Manage outstanding quotations, maintain accurate CAFM records and support the handover of successful works to the project team. Identify additional works and support the wider sales and estimating process. About You OFTEC qualification or strong working knowledge of OFTEC-regulated systems essential. Gas qualification or strong working knowledge of gas systems essential. Previous estimating experience within commercial or industrial building services/maintenance. Strong technical knowledge of oil-fired heating, gas, air conditioning/refrigeration and associated MandE equipment. Experience with SFG20 and CAFM systems is desirable. Strong numerical, organisational and communication skills, with excellent attention to detail. Confident dealing with clients, subcontractors and suppliers while managing multiple quotations and deadlines. NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing and Heating or equivalent is desirable.
