Health and Safety ManagerLocation: Stoke-on-Trent (Hybrid - 2 days in the office, 3 days working from home)Rate: 475- 500 per day (Inside IR35)Contract: Initial 6-month interim contract with the intention to recruit permanentlyWe are recruiting for an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join a public sector organisation on an initial 6-month interim contract, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent position.This is a key leadership role focused on reviewing, modernising and strengthening the organisation''s Health and Safety framework. You''ll play a pivotal role in shaping future Health and Safety governance, improving policies and processes, and embedding a consistent approach across the organisation.Key Responsibilities of the Health and Safety ManagerReview and refresh the organisation''s Health and Safety governance framework, ensuring it reflects current operational requirements, including the integration of the Repairs and Maintenance function.Review governance arrangements, including Terms of Reference, working groups and reporting to the Senior Management Team.Promote and embed Health and Safety best practice across the organisation.Review and update all Health and Safety policies and procedures to ensure they are current, compliant and aligned across the organisation.Assess the current Health and Safety training programme and implement improvements to ensure it meets the organisation''s evolving needs.Develop a new operating model for Health and ..... full job details .....
